Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all use of the Get Pingy service provided by Get Pingy Pty Ltd. Breach may result in suspension or termination in accordance with the Customer Service Agreement.

1. Prohibited activities

  • Spam or unsolicited commercial electronic messages.
  • Scams, fraud, phishing or impersonation of any person or business.
  • Harassment, threats, stalking, or messages promoting violence.
  • Unlawful discrimination or hate speech.
  • Misleading or deceptive conduct in breach of the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Promotion or supply of illegal goods or services.
  • Malware, ransomware, phishing links or other malicious software.
  • Collecting or transmitting personal information without authority.
  • High-risk or life-safety use — Get Pingy must not be relied on for emergency dispatch, medical alerts, security response or any use where delayed or missed delivery could cause serious harm.
  • Misuse of telephone numbers, including caller-ID spoofing or unauthorised use of numbers you do not have rights to.
  • Use of Get Pingy virtual numbers to receive one-time passwords (OTP), two-factor authentication (2FA) or verification codes.
  • Interference with our systems or the systems of our carriers or providers.
  • Traffic that is excessive, abnormal or designed to overwhelm networks (including SMS bombing).
  • Content that carriers prohibit (adult, gambling, drugs, weapons where restricted, cryptocurrency scams etc.).

2. Enforcement

Where we reasonably believe you have breached this policy we may, without limiting our other rights, suspend outbound sending, disable an account, remove content, or terminate the Agreement. We will preserve your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and provide reasonable notice where practicable.
